Win a Day with WordGirl is episode 12b of Season 4 of WordGirl.
Summary[]
The Big City Times announces a writing contest prize: win a day with WordGirl! A chance at a full-day encounter with everyone's favorite superhero causes TJ and Tobey to go to extremes to win -- ending in a robot-filled squabble at the library. Scoops and Violet also get involved, though they may be more interested in winning the contest than the prize. In the end, Violet wins with her poem about cookies.
Plot[]
One morning there is an announcement in the newspaper, there is a contest announcing whoever can get a good story about WordGirl will be able to spend the whole day with her. This grabs the attention of #1 fan T.J., ace reporter Scoops and boy genius Tobey, all of whom have been waiting for an opportunity like this for ages. Outside the Botsford house Becky and Bob are working in the yard but are unhappy especially when it's the weekend. T.J. decides to write an essay on her since he is her #1 fan he comes outside but thinks loudly much to Becky's annoyance who asks he do it quietly. Scoops is unsure what to do for his writing but decides to use his reporter skills to come up with a good story.

- This marks the second time WordGirl expresses her dislike of the WordGirl contests the city does, the first time was in Mouse Brain Take-Over.
