Paul F. Tompkins is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, writer, screenwriter, and television producer.
He is best known today for his work as a writer and performer on Mr. Show with Bob and David, as well as helping the two get the job as the hosts of the show.
He's also known for his work on writing for Real Time with Bill Maher, and Best Week Ever, as well as his appearances in podcasts like Comedy Bang! Bang!, and his storytelling and observational styled comedy on stage.
As a voice actor, Tompkins guest starred in many animated television series such as Adventure Time, King of the Hill, and Super Adventure Team. The first feature film he voice acted in was a film called Magnolia. But, to date, he's more notable for voicing one of the thugs in Disney's Tangled. Most recently, he voiced a recurring character in DuckTales named Gladstone Gander.
For WordGirl, he guest starred as Royal Dandy for the episode "Royally Framed", replacing Sergio Cilli since he left the series for other commitments and was unavailable at the time. He also guest starred as Flash Clocktormocktor, a dentist in the episode "WordGirl vs. Tobey vs. The Dentist".
