Of Two Minds is episode 5a of Season 6 of WordGirl.
Summary[]
It looks as though Dr. Two Brains has given up his cheese-stealing ways and has decided to go straight. It's true, he's not stealing cheese anymore because he's discovered a giant cheese asteroid and has used his Cheese Seizer to redirect its path straight towards Earth! Will WordGirl convince him to change his mind in time to save Earth from being covered in cheese?
Plot[]
Becky, Bob and TJ are in the living room watching tv, most of them are commercials but suddenly there is a message from Dr. Two-Brains to tells WordGirl he plans on turning all the water in the reservoir into nacho cheese so he won't have to go to the ballpark for nachos. He tells her that it's already too late, shocked by this, Becky and Bob go to stop him.
When she gets there Two-Brains warns them if they come closer, he'll send two reservoir workers into the water. WordGirl tries to stall him but he powers up the ray much to her shock, but the ray was just a prank and the reservoir workers were his henchmen. WordGirl is upset that he tricked her to come out here especially after he panicked the entire city. Before she leaves, Two-Brains explains that he only made the threat to lure her there so he could tell her some big news: he's done with crime and wants to show her something at his lair. WordGirl just laughs at the accusation as she thinks he's just using this as an excuse to capture her, he tries to insist he's being sincere but she takes off. Two-Brains decides that he needs to convince WordGirl that he is done with stealing cheese.
Later on, WordGirl is battling Tobey who is threatening to destroy the TV station due to the inaccuracies of the tv show Robots, Robots, Robots. Before WordGirl can take out the last robot, Two-Brains shows up in his blimp. In front of WordGirl, he makes a deal with Tobey, the next time Two-Brains steals cheese Tobey can send his robots after him, even offering him money. At first Tobey brushes this off but is in shock when he sees how much money there is. WordGirl questions how this is supposed to get her to come see him, Two-Brains is at a loss for words and leaves, much to Tobey's disappointment. WordGirl finishes off the robot and brings Claire McCallister to Tobey. Moments later, Two-Brains calls to WordGirl from the dump, this is the last straw for WordGirl as she is now angry abut this whole thing. Two-Brains shows her he is throwing out all of the inventions he made, but WordGirl points out a few flaws; he may still have some inventions but also he still has henchmen (real good guys don't have any), while he tries to speak up about that, the henchmen actually side with WordGirl. She tells Two-Brains firmly she is unconvinced he's gone good and wants him to leave her alone before taking off.
Seconds later though, Huggy starts to believe that Two-Brains may be sincere, while WordGirl is starting to think the same thing as well. She points out that Two-Brains has tricked her before but knows that heroes do what's right. WordGirl begrudgingly agrees to trust Two-Brains and come to his lair, he is thrilled to hear that and will see her soon. He drives back to his lair with his henchmen.
