Mr. Newman is a neighbor of the Botsfords. He has long dark hair, a full beard, and a thick unibrow that covers his eyes. He appeared in the episode "Big Baby", where Becky babysitted his "pet" plant Rex, a dinosaur-shaped Chia pet that Mr. Newman seems to have a strange obsession with. There is a portrait of him and Rex hanging in his living room, as well as a picture of him and Rex taking a trip to Paris. Even though Becky did not take good care of Rex, Mr. Newman was calm and understanding about it, even assuring Becky that Rex will just grow more leaves. While he wasn't going to pay her, he was glad that Becky up front and honest with him.
He also appeared briefly in "Time-Out with Two-Brains", where he is seen taking a selfie of himself with Rex in front of a clock tower.
He was voiced by guest star Mark McConville.
