Larry Murphy is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian.
In live-action, he is best known for his work on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Delocated.
In animation, he's known for his work in Ugly Americans, Teddy in Bob’s Burgers, O’Grady, Home Movies, and Wordgirl.
For Wordgirl, his most notable of work was playing the Amazing Rope Guy, a minor villain who often gets easily caught by Wordgirl, the police, and even his own rope at times. After several episodes though, the character proved popular enough to have his own episodes, each depicting him as a villain with much misfortune compared to others such as Dr. Two-Brains, Chuck the Evil Sandwich-Making Guy, and The Butcher.
He also voiced Mr. Best, the father of Victoria Best; news reporter Stu Brisket; Dave the Copy-Shop Manager; the Zookeeper for The Handsome Panther; the Used Car Salesman (replacing Mike O’ Conell from Season 2 onwards), Officer Jim; Anthony the News Reporter; and, unusually, the principal of the city school.
