Ellie Kemper is an American actress, voice actress, and comedian.
In live-action, she is best known for her work as Erin Hannon in The Office, and the title character in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, each of which awarded and nominated her for best actress. She is also known for her work as Becca in the 2011 film Bridesmaids.
In animation, she first started out as a guest star for television series such as American Dad!, Robot Chicken, and All Hail King Julien, before at one point earning a more recurring role as Crackle the Dragon in Sofia the First. Working her way up, she soon earned more recurring roles as Katie in The Secret Life of Pets, Phyllis in The Lego Batman Movie, and Smurf Blossom in Smurfs: The Lost Village. In 2019, she reprised the role of Katie in The Secret Life of Pets 2.
For Wordgirl, she guest starred in the series as Rose Franklin, a young newspaper reporter who became a new student at Wordgirl's school in the episode "News Girl".
