Summary[]
Mr. Big attempt to take control of the biggest building in the city by winning a local business contest.
Plot[]
Mr. Big stares proudly out the window telling his assistant Leslie he has the best business in town and the tallest building in the city. However Leslie tells Mr. Big that they now own the second biggest building, as the Welrose Building is the biggest building in their city, Mr. Big says that they'll buy it but Lesly explains the building is not actually for sale, it's the prize for the Businesspaloozafest. To get the building Mr. Big enters the event. At the event the next day, The Botsford's see all the different business stands which impresses them. As Becky and her family are looking at Suzy P. Snugglestein's factory of cuteness, Mr. Big puts on a big spectacle, impressing many townspeople with utter gibberish, which they consider to be brilliant. Later Mr. Big takes more drastic action by sabotaging many stands in an attempt to gain control over the grand prize. WordGirl goes on the case to stop him from cheating and speaking gibberish, but without any evidence, there's not much she can do. Things seem to be going well for Mr. Big as he makes it to the finals but when Leslie activates another mind-control ray at the final judging of the contest for the best business on WordGirl, The Mayor, and Mrs. Botsford, it is up to Captain Huggy Face to save the day!

- This time WordGirl is affected by Mr. Big's mind control (even though she is normally immune to it), while Huggy is not affected. It seems to be unpredictable as to which of the main characters are subject to mind control, and under what circumstances they are susceptible. In this episode, the ray was somehow able to target only the judges of the contest.
- The Welrose Building is never seen again after this episode, making Mr. Big's Building the largest in the city.
