Transcript for Becky and Scoops[]
(Becky and Scoops are strolling down the sidewalk together, near a construction site.)
Scoops: Wordgirl is definitely older than she looks. I'm thinking….mid-forties.
Becky: How do you know?
Scoops: A reporter's instinct.
Becky: Oh. Okay. (She sees a large construction beam teetering on the top of a construction site, then beginning to slide off.)
Scoops: I've thought of all sorts of possibilities, but I still can't figure out Wordgirl's secret…..(Becky springs off the ground with a flash of golden light) umm…
Becky: (lands back on the ground with the beam in her arms) Identity? Who she is, when she isn't Wordgirl?
Scoops: (doesn't notice) Right, her secret identity. (Becky hastily throws the bar behind her and continues walking along.) I've already ruled out all the people I know. I mean, nobody I know is that good with words. (He laughs, and Becky blushes.) No offense, Becky.
Becky: None taken. (She notices a large, circular hole in the middle of the sidewalk with cones around it, though Scoops is still caught up in his speculations.)
Scoops: I mean, she's fast…(Becky turns around and dashes off at superspeed, returning with a piece of wood and throwing it on top of the hole, which Scoops walks over. She sighs with relief, but then sees another construction beam on ropes swinging towards them, and prepares to block it) She's cute…(Becky is stunned by his words, and freezes with a lovestruck smile on her face) She's strong… (The beam crashes straight into her, but crinkles up.) Are you even listening to me?
Becky: (hopefully) You think Wordgirl is cute?
Scoops: (sighs) Oh! Maybe she's from France, and got her powers when she ate nuclear cheese! (He walks on by himself.)
Becky: (romantically, to herself) He thinks I'm cute…..
(The beam, bent from crashing into Becky, swings forward and falls off its hangers with a loud bang.)
