How do I add images to Category:Images of Wordgirl/Becky Botsford?
What's on your mind?
Been years since I watched the show (I think I saw all the eps, not yet up to watching reruns) but I think I vaguely remember an episode where Becky wanted to spend time with Scoops but he was spending time with Violet instead and Becky was jealous.
Does anyone recall an episode resembling this? I could have possibly just imagined it, but I'd like to rewatch it.
Update: I should have reread the character article. So far there is
- Cherish is the Word he asks her to be his valentine
- The Rise of Miss Power they hold hands eating ice cream
- Time-Out with Two-Brains walking in the park, Becky separates
Did I add those or did someone else observe? Any other episodes recalled?
Was there an episode where Becky wore headphones?
This image of her working out in her base got me thinking. While no weight is actually listed, standard is that large plates weigh 45, medium weighs 25, small weighs 10.
- 4x45 = 180
- 3x25 = 75
- 3x10 = 30
Total = 285 per side, so 570 pounds total from plates, add the standard 45 pound barbell and you get 615 pounds lifted in a 1 arm press.
This is just casually pressing for reps though. I'm sure she's probably lifted heavier things than this in the field. I just can't think of particular instances.
I'm pretty sure I've seen her lift cars. What is the heaviest vehicle someone can find her lifting? I'm looking for the best examples of her super-strength so we can compare her to other popular heroes and see where she stacks up based on known examples.
Story So Far: It takes place three years after the series' finale and she's still fighting crime, then a new villain, Greatdoom (voiced by Tim Curry), comes to town, and has the power to create hurricanes and has telekinetic abilities. WordGirl has no possibilities to stop him, until she finds out the answer in the climax. In the final battle scene, it's a battle of wits and fighting (to fit the kid-friendly aspect). During the middle of the fight, pushed into a building by his telekinesis, she looses her helmet, but doesn't stand down. She then defeats him by blowing his hurricane back at him, then ties him up with a lamp post. After his arrest, everyone's in shock that she was Becky the whole time. Trying to lie, she tells the truth instead. At the end, she announces that she retires as WordGirl from here on out. In a montage, the villains quit their lives of crime and go into the crimefighting business, normal business, etc.; Huggy gives goodbye to Becky and the family and departs back to Lexicon.
Music: Alan SIlvestri will compose the score and David Bowie's song "Heroes" is used in the montage at the end.
Rating: G (General Audiences - All Ages Admitted)
Film companies: Scholastic Media (production company), Columbia Pictures (distributor)
Reason: I've always wanted to have a film of the show be made ever since I think 2008.
What's the name of the episode where Tobey dresses up as a sailor?

....And i was really cringy..............
Just letting everyone know about a few wikia additions. First, I'm slowly adding episode transcripts. So far I've put up the first 15 episodes of season 1, through "Crime Takes a Hoiday". I also completed a few others, including "First One to Win Wins," "A Little Bigger WordGirl", and "Rhyme and Reason". I was also asked to do transcripts for "may I have a word" episodes, so I've done a few of those too.
I also have nearly completed a list of episode title card images. started by 5000 Explosions and a Supernova. Also, I created a page showing closing scenes for nearly all of the episodes. I have links to both of these on my user page. The only episode missing is "Who is Ms. Question", which I cannot find and will have to wait for it to appear on the PBS kids video site.
Now, you can discuss plans to revive WordGirl on the Save WordGirl! forum board. Check it out!
Qpalzm10, as a moderator you can create new boards. Just so you know.
Hey guys! Sorry that I haven't been on the wiki in a very long time. I've been really busy with schoolwork these past two to three years, so I haven't had time to update my fanfiction, The Very Cheesy Affair.
For those not in the know, it's a collection of romance stories featuring Dr. Two-Brains and Lady Redundant Woman, based on a scene in the episode "When Chuck's Mom is Away..." where he asks her "and her twelve duplicates" out for dinner.
I have a new chapter ready for you guys to read. It is just one of a two-part chapter where the two villains spend a day at the beach. Here is the link:
Please read and, if possible, review, but above all, enjoy!
Is anyone in favour of or opposed to this idea? Pages dedicated to discussing the interactions between various pairs of characters? Like for example, Scoops and Violet, or Becky and Tobey?
I figure for format we should go alphabetically.
I've seen this done on some other wikis, for example:
Has anyone seen this done on other wikis? I think I have but can't recall specific ones at the present moment.
Two come to mind off hand:
Besides these two, does anyone recall anyone else who has been shown capable of doing the side-splits? I imagine Huggy probably has... perhaps Leslie? Hoping we can compile screenshots of other candidates shown to be this limber.
Something seems amiss to me regarding their heights.
What was the name of that game where wordgirl is in a maze and you answer trivia questions?
What happened to it?
